I have finally finished the last member of my first tactical squad, my army is now game legal!

Well today Games Workshop announced the Dreadfleet painting competition on their website. With my copy already on its way to my door step this seems like the perfect opportunity to flex my painting skills some more. Originally I wasn't going to spend a whole lot of time on these models, but why not. I feel like it is going to be slightly hard to really make your ship stand out from another unless you drasticly alter the paint scheme (which I don't want to do) or do some crazy conversion (again, don't really want to do) but maybe I can make some cool display base?

Now the only question is, do I want to make the hour drive down to the nearest GW store to enter in the store competition by October 29th? Is it worth a certificate...I think so.

Charity 2: Electric Bogaloo

Newbold Challenge is running another competition to support the fight against childhood leukemia. I didn't place in the last but apparently came close so I thought I would give it another shot. Hello everyone, yet more Tomb Kings to show off today. I actually finished this unit of spear men about a week ago but just got around to taking pictures. Slowly but surely this army is growing, now I just need to learn how to play Tomb Kings and 8th edition.

Ogre Firebelly

Here he is, the big guy himself, the Ogre Firebelly I have been painting for my GW application. Not much to say about him, I hate taking pictures of models. I need to get some better photo equipment.
